Atlanta Temple Trip!

We just had the best Valentine's Day!! We went to the Atlanta temple for the Roland's sealing. It was spirit changing. I have never seen a whole family be sealed together. Watching Clay and Nicki get sealed was moving enough, but when they brought in their three girls in their white dress, it just brought you to tears. Especially when they put the baby on the alter, she was like the cherry topper for a perfect day. All of us women in the sealing room weren't just tearful, but we were sobbing and gasping as the spirit moved us all beyond words. Now I truly know what it means when we say in our church "Families can be together forever".

I have a famly here on earth. They are so good to me.
I want to share my life with them through all eternity.
Fam'lies can be together forever Through Heavnly Father's plan.
I always want to be with my own family, And the Lord has shown me how I can.
The Lord has shown me how I can.

While I am in my early years, I'll prepare most carefully.
So I can marry in God's Temple for eternity.
Fam'lies can be together forever Through Heavnly Father's plan.
I always want to be with my own family, And the Lord has shown me how I can.
The Lord has shown me how I can.

We did an endowment session afterward, and I have never felt the spirit during a session so strong till that day. When I read the scriptures (D&C 4 & 88) in the chapel, before the session,my answers to my prayers came to me. How pleased our Heavenly Father is to have us come to the temple. Both Brint and myself felt our Heavenly Father's and our Savior's love over flow that day!!

You are correct about having the babies there with family is very differnt and special, we joined in 1978 and had Ronnie 3 1/2 and Kevin 1 1/2 both in the alter with us. I can't tell you how I sobbed when they were put upon the alter and their tiny hands were with ours. We went to DC on one of those LONG trips and had many of the ward with us. We all cried, cried and even had the sister missionary and her family with us. What a blessing we had and I still remember it like yesterday. Thanks for sharing it with us. Pat
