A visit with Papa!

My dad finally got the chance to come and stay with us, and meet Amelia. He stayed for two weeks. Some days we were busy running errands, going out to lunch with family and friends, and some days we just stayed home and hung out. Either way we, including Amelia, had fun. We even went to Georgia to see my Grandma, Uncle, and cousins. They all just fell in love with her ...well how can they not? Anyway, enjoy the pics because they are pretty sweet!

This first pics is of dad and Amelia meeting for the first time. My dad's plane got in so late that Amelia was already asleep, so they had to meet the next morning.

Here are the pics of our visit with my family in Georgia. My Grandma, Ruby, is 96 years old ...I think. She just couldn't wait to meet Amelia, she even told me that she had a dream of holding her weeks before we were there. She just loves babies and children.



We also got to hang out with my cousin Shawna, who is so amazing, and her son Logan. It was very sweet, Logan was so good with Amelia. He didn't like to hear her cry when she got a little fussy, so he went out to their car and got his stuffed bunny he got for Easter. He worked really hard to make sure she was happy.





We also were able to get video of my two cousins, Shawna & Howie, "fighting" about who gets to hold Amelia. And some great video of Amelia just staring at Grandma and smiling her big sweet smiles. It was such a great trip!

Easter time!

I love all of these "first" for Amelia. I have a feeling there are going to be plenty of "first" posts on this blog! This first Easter for Amelia was great. We got to dress her up in her Easter best for church, the Easter Bunny left her a cute basket, and the best part is that Brint's cousin, Jen< came from Canada for a visit. She came to visit Nana, but we all benefited from spending lot's of time with her. I couldn't wait for her to meet Amelia for the first time. You'll never believe where they were when they first met ...only the best store in America ...TARGET!

Jen is a shopping diva, and was there to teach Amelia how to be one too. It was so much fun, took lot's of pics, and pretty much took over the entire store. Amelia went home with a lot of sweet clothes that Auntie Jen got for her. Thanks Jen!!!



So the Easter Bunny stopped by our house for the first time. Woo, hoo! Amelia got the cutest bucket, some Hello Kitty hair clips, a book, fresh new spring pj's, and some onesies. The best part about the onesies is that one of them say "Her Royal Cuteness". Which, by the way, she WILL be wearing for the Royal Wedding coming up on the 29th, can't wait to post that blog!









After church we met up with Brint's Uncle, Aunt, Nana & Cousin. Nana wanted to go to O'Charley's for Easter lunch. Then went back to their house to hang out, and took some pics. They turned out just beautiful, with all the green, budding flowers, and the sunlight streaming through all the trees. There were so many good pics, just had to post them all.










This was a great Easter, and It was fun to see all the love that Amelia got from family and friends. Hope yours was just a memorable!

Amelia's new BFF!

Here are pics of the two cutest girls on the planet ...destined to be best friends!! As soon as I put Amelia down, Jenna reached out to her little buddy, as to say "HI!!". In May I will have to go back to work (cue the tears), and we are SO blessed that our friends Ryan & Katie will be looking after Amelia. What makes is better is that Jenna will be there too!!

First day at church!

Here are a couple of pics of Amelia's first day to church. We were able to find ONE dress that would fit her, and not swallow her up. Although no one saw her dress at church, as we kept her covered up to keep her away from people with germs. So we thought we'd take a couple of pics. The last pic (which is my favorite) is of Brint and Amelia after we got home, had lunch, and got in our comfies. Don't they look like twins, I think it's the bald head!! Enjoy!

I'm one month old!!

These are pics of Amelia and a couple of adopted "Aunties". All four of these wonderful women were all there when Amelia was born. Each one played a VERY important part on that special day. There are many more Labor & Delivery "Aunties" that were there as a great support, hopefully we'll get Amelia's pics with them soon!
